Purpose

Enhance AI personas with additional information from patient notes, clinical observations, or other relevant materials. This helps create more realistic and nuanced patient interactions.

What to Upload

• Patient notes - Observations about patient behavior, preferences, concerns
• Clinical data - Lab results, treatment history, symptom descriptions
• Interview transcripts - Real patient conversations (anonymized)
• Research materials - Studies about dialysis patient experiences

Supported Formats

PDF, Word (.doc, .docx), Text (.txt), CSV, Excel (.xls, .xlsx), and images (PNG, JPG, JPEG, WebP)

Workflow

1. Click Enhance on a persona card
2. Upload a file or paste text containing relevant information
3. AI analyzes the content and suggests enhancements
4. Review suggestions in View Pending
5. Apply approved enhancements or reject inappropriate ones

What are Templates?

Interview templates provide structured conversation flows with predefined stages. Users can select a template before starting an interview to guide their questioning approach.

Template Components

• Name - A descriptive title for the template
• Description - Brief explanation of when to use this template
• Stages - Ordered list of interview phases (e.g., Opening, Background, Core Topic)
• Sample Prompts - Suggested questions for each stage

Managing Templates

• Create - Add a new custom template
• Edit - Modify existing template stages and prompts
• Delete - Remove custom templates (built-in templates cannot be deleted)
• Enable/Disable - Control which templates appear in the dropdown

Role Hierarchy

Role	Capabilities
Super Admin	Complete access: manage all users, assign any role, delete users, view content violations, enhance personas, conduct interviews
Admin	Full access except cannot assign Super Admin role. Can manage users, view violations, enhance personas, conduct interviews
Editor	Persona enhancement only. Can add/remove enhancements to personas. Cannot manage users, view violations, or access admin settings
Viewer	Interview access only. Can conduct interviews and export transcripts. Cannot access admin panel

Managing Users

• Add User - Enter email address and select role (Super Admin only)
• Edit - Change a user's role
• Delete - Remove user access (Super Admin only)

What Are Content Guardrails?

Content guardrails automatically screen all persona enhancement uploads and text inputs for inappropriate content before processing.

Protected Categories

• Political content - Partisan statements, campaign material
• Discriminatory content - Prejudiced or biased statements
• Hate speech - Targeted harassment or hate
• Violence - Threats or violent content
• Sexual content - Explicit material
• Personal attacks - Defamation (flagged for review)
